On July 7, 2013 Egyptian supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood gathered in support of the deposed president Mohamed Morsi in Cairo. Egyptian security forces shot 16 Islamist activists.
The provisional government of Egypt announces to set s new prime minister. Sixteen Islamist activists were shot dead early on Monday for calling to reinstate the ousted president Mohamed Morsi. Besides the 16 dead people, there are 100 others seriously injured. Paraders told that police had fired tear gas and bullets into the air to decentralize the supporters.
These dead people are loyalists of Morsi who are Egypt's first freely elected president but lasted just a year in power.
This event was a tragedy. People should not have adopted such extreme way to express their view on policy, economy as well as other aspects of a country. Also the government should be humanistic to its citizens instead of taking such merciless solution. Everyone should think deeply about it.
